Dr. Kari Doyle, Principal
Dr. Kari Doyle is American, completed her Bachelors degree in Biology and Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from USA. Kari taught several years in University as Professor for Life Sciences and in middle and high-school as Science and Mathematics teacher. Highly enthusiastic about STEM education and digitalization in school, Kari joined VIS from St.John’s International School Belgium, an IB school, where she was teaching for 6 years in MYP and DP Programmes.
Sharmila Mukherjee, Head of Administration
Sharmila Mukherjee is Indian, completed her Masters degrees in Mathematics from India and in Informatics from UK. A certified Montessori teacher, Sharmila is the Founder and Director of Tinytots International Daycare & Preschool in Copenhagen and led the initiative to form Viking International School
Jennifer Hudson, Teacher, IPC and STEM Coordinator
Jennifer Hudson Vismark is American, completed her Bachelors degree in Elementary and Special Education from USA and Masters degree in Lifelong Learning- Policy and Management from Denmark. Jennifer has 15 years of experience from schools in USA, Denmark and Sweden. She served International School of Lund as PYP Coordinator and in Copenhagen International School as PYP Classroom Teacher. Jennifer joined VIS from Tinytots International Daycare & Preschool in Copenhagen.
Angelika Cullen, Teacher
Angelika Cullen is British, completed her Bachelors degree in Psychology and QTS from UK. Angelika has more than 6 years of teaching experience across EYFS and KS1 and KS2 from UK. She worked as class-teacher, year-group leader, EAL teacher and also as mentor for newly qualified teachers in an Ofsted outstanding school in London.
Karen Reinhold Bjørkøe, Danish Teacher
Karen Reinhold Bjørkøe is Danish. She completed her degree in Psychology and Performance Design from Denmark and degree in acting from UK. A stage performer herself, Karen has several years of experience in teaching various age-groups, from performing music and movement activities in kindergarten to teaching theatre/ drama for highschool students. Karen incorporates VIS’ mission of teaching Danish beyond traditional teaching methodology, through structured but fun activities.
Keidi Õunap, Music, PE , ASC Teacher
Keidi Õunap completed her teaching degree from Denmark in English, Music and PE; she also holds AMI diploma. Keidi worked both as Kindergarten teacher as well as Music and Sports teacher in Denmark. Keidi speaks both English and Danish and through her lessons, she incorporates VIS’ aim to teach “Danish beyond classroom”.
Kristin Barron, ASC Teacher
Kristin Barron is American, completed her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the US. Kristin worked as Counselor for several years and also worked as After-School Program director and counselor across US and different countries in Europe.
